Tour Itinerary:
Destination: Guwahati Airport – Borapani -Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong -
Cherapunji – Mawsynram – Guwahati - Kamakhya – Umananda – Museum – Fancy
Bazar - Chandubi – Guwahati Airport drop

Tour Map

Day 1 Guwahati Airport to Borapani: (100 km -3hrs 20 min)

Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport and proceed to Borapani (Umium lake), after view point visit, check in to the Hotel Orchid resort. Overnight stay at Borapani., Shillong.

Day 2 Borapani to Dawki: (97 km – 3hrs 20min)

After breakfast checkout from orchid and proceed to Dawki/Mawlynnong, visit root bridge, Mawlynnong village, Dawki Umngot river and Bangladesh border. In the evening reach to Cherapunji (32 km – 1hr 15min), Overnight stay at Hotel in Cherapunji.

Day 3 Cherapunji Local site seeing

After breakfast proceed for Cherapunji local site seeing. Visit - Arwah (fossil) cave, Nohkalikai fall, Ramakrishna mission, Mawsmai Cave, 7 sisters fall, Eco Park. Overnight stay at Cherapunji.

Day 4 Cherapunji to Mawsynram (80 km 2hr 40 min)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Mawsynram (world’s highest rain fall places), bamboo track, Mawphlang forest etc. In the evening back to Borapani (112 km -4hrs) Overnight stay at Orchid resort.

Day 5 Shillong Site seeing (21 Km)

After breakfast proceed to Shillong site seeing. Visit elephant fall, Air force museum, Words Lake, lady Hydri park, Laitlum canyon, In the evening back to Borapani. Overnight stay at Orchid resort.

Day 6 Borapani to Guwahati (78 km -2 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Guwahati. On the way visit Guwahati Zoo, (a natural zoo), Shankardev Kalakshetra, Brahmaputra rope way and Sunset cruise. Overnight stay at Guwahati

Day 7 Guwahati Local Site seeing

Early morning I visited Maa Kamakhya temple. After breakfast proceed to Guwahati local site seeing. Visit Umananda by ferry, Assam State Museum, Hajo, Suwalkusi (silk city of Assam)

Day 8 Guwahati Airport Drop

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Fancy bazar for shopping. After shopping proceed to Chandubi (a renowned picnic spot, with a beautiful scenic beauty) , From Chanddubi directly drop to airport.
