This city has been named Europe’s most budget-friendly for 2023!

In a recent survey done by ABTA (a leading association of travel agents and tour operators), Lisbon (Portuguese capital) has been named Europe's most budget-friendly capital city for 2023. The annual travel survey analyzes tourist costs in 35 European cities, among which Lisbon has come out as the winner and the best budget location for a city break.
Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital, Krakow (a city in Poland) and Athens (in Greece) were on the second, third and fourth positions in the list respectively. The ranking is done by an analysis of 12 things, which includes sightseeing trips, a two-night stay at any 3-star property, an evening meal for two with wine, and transport inside the city.
At £225 (INR 23,095), Lisbon, a walker’s heaven, won the prestigious title. On that note, let’s have a quick look at some of the prominent places to visit in Lisbon.
