Char Dham 2023: A guide on how to register online

It’s expected that the state will likely see more pilgrims turning up for the yatra. Reports have it that this time, strict measures will be put in place to ensure all domestic and international pilgrims have gone through the compulsory registration. In short, none will be allowed to go ahead without compulsory registration.

So, here's a guide on how to register yourself online

Step 1: Enter: https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
Step 2: Log in or register. You can register yourself as individual (self), or family (self and family).
Step 3: Make sure you enter your full name, correct mobile number, enter password, to create a new account.
Step 4: After you are signed in, you will get to see a dashboard with your name on the left.
Step 5: Now, you will get to create/manage the tour by clicking the Create/Manage Tour Information, which will lead you to the ‘Plan Your Trip Page.’
Step 6: Then go to ‘Add New Tour.’
Step 7: Add all the necessary information, such as tour type, tour destination, number of tourists travelling, specific date, and so on.
Step 8: Save your entries.
Step 9: Your tour will now be created.
Step 10: Then add a pilgrim under the said tour, after which you will get to see ‘Registration of Tourist’ form. Your destination will be displayed automatically where users will be required to enter details of their Uttarakhand trip.
Step 11: Click on Save & Next to complete the registration.
Step 12: After this, the user will have to download a Yatra Registration Letter in which a unique QR code will be displayed, which has to be shown during the yatra. The user will also get an SMS, along with the unique ID.
Step 13: The pilgrims will also get ‘Yatri Certificate,’ after getting verified.
