Cruising Convention in Singapore gets overwhelming response

The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) is organising a convention after a gap of two years and looking at the response of the members, the association is hopeful that the Cruising Convention in Singapore will be a grand success.
Sharing more details on the preparations and arrangements, the association said that all 140 cabins booked by TAAI for the convention are sold out and it is in consultation with Royal Caribbean International to seek more cabins for the delegates.
TAAI said it wanted the convention to be a limited edition looking at the paucity of time & not a very conducive environment & now looking at the demand regrets that it cannot accommodate more participants.
The leading travel trade association is inviting members and delegates to look out for interesting and innovative knowledge sessions and discussions during the three-day annual event beyond all the fun, shows, dance, music, casino & activities which the cruise offers TAAI added that a convention is all about meeting, networking & imbibing knowledge from each other’s experiences. The Convention is scheduled between August 22-25 on the Royal Caribbean Cruise from Singapore.
TAAI said that its 66th Convention on a cruise in Singapore is the first ever convention by an association on a cruise and therefore will be a ‘lifetime experience’. The Cruise-to-Cruise experience will begin and end in Singapore with delegates boarding the cruise liner’s newest ship – Spectrum of the Seas’.
The association is aiming to promote cruise tourism in & from India along with pushing regional tourism in the region among industry stakeholders. India has a huge coastline of 7,000 km, which is a huge opportunity for India to establish cruise tourism. The country is loaded with opportunities & the industry need to encash & pave the path of growth & collaboration, added TAAI.
