Thailand Expands Its India Drive With a New Visakhapatnam–Bangkok Route.
Thailand is making it easier for Indians to visit by launching new Visakhapatnam to Bangkok routes and exciting travel opportunities. Thailand is boosting its reputation as a top global holiday destination for Indians with new routes, visa free travel and targeted tourism marketing. A new Visakhapatnam to Bangkok route launched by Air India Express marks another milestone in the Kingdom’s plans to attract more tourist visitors from India’s growing urban centres. With almost 1.9 million Indian arrivals recorded in 2026, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) are looking to provide new travel opportunities, regional travel and high value tourism opportunities to make Thailand more attractive to Indian holidaymakers.Thailand’s tourism expansion received another boost with the arrival of Air India Express’ inaugural Visakhapatnam–Bangkok flight on 27 October 2026. The Tourism Authority of Thailand welcomed passengers and crew travelling on flight IX0904 at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, highlighting the significance of improved connectivity between the two countries.
