Philippines Launches e-Visa for UAE Residents With Digital Approvals and Multiple-Entry Options.
The Philippines introduces e-Visas to tourists in Dubai. The Philippines has now introduced an e-Visa system to allow eligible UAE residents to apply for their travel permission online. This will be particularly useful for expats from countries who require a Philippine visa. Visitors can choose to apply for a one-off or multiple entry visa which start from AED 260. Once approved visitors can display their visa online or in printed form upon arrival. The Philippines hopes to encourage further tourism from the UAE by making the application process easier. For UAE-based travellers, this creates another way to obtain approval before visiting the Philippines. The digital process reduces reliance on physical visa stickers, while maintaining the requirement to meet immigration conditions. Applicants must still use the appropriate visa category, receive approval and observe the authorised purpose and duration of their visit.
