Agatti :
The Agatti Island is at a distance of 459 km (248 nautical miles) from Kochi and is located west of Kavaratti Island. It lies between 10o 48′ and 10o 53′ N latitude and 72o 09′ and 7o 13′ E longitude, having an area of 3.84 sq km, with a maximum length of 10 km and width of km. It has a north-east, south-west trend with a long tail on the south. The lagoon area of this island is 17.50 sq km.
In Agatti coral growths and multicolored coral fishes abound in its lagoons. Fishing is the most important industry of Agatti which is perhaps the only island besides Minicoy getting surplus fish. Next to Fishing, Coir and Copra are the main industries. Agatti is the Air Port stopover from Cochin on the way to Bangaram which can be seen on the northern horizon.

Climate:
The climate of Agatti is similar to the climatic conditions of Kerala. March to May is the hottest period of the year. The temperature ranges from 25oC to 35oC and humidity ranges from 70 -76 per cent for most of the year. The average rainfall received is 1600 mm a year. Monsoon prevails here from 15th May to 15th September. The monsoon period raises temperature to the mercury level between 27- 30 degrees. During the monsoon time, boats are not allowed outside the lagoon because of the violent sea. The presence of the reef maintains calm at the lagoon.

TERMS & CONDITION:

•   Consumption of liquor is prohibited in Lakshadweep. Do not use/carry Alcoholic drink, intoxicants while on/travelling to the Islands.
•   Extra cost will be levied by the guest due to flight cancellation/ delay at Cochin or Agatti.
•   Any services/items/inclusions promised to the guest apart from the inclusions mentioned in the package needs to be paid by the Agent who promised the guest.  Turtle Fins Adventure is not responsible for the same
•   Services/Inclusions promised apart from the package will be charged to the agent, if the agent fails to pay then the guest will be charged for the same.
•   Turtle Fins Adventure reserves the rights to interchange the properties booked or change the guest stay to an equivalent property until the last minute for whatsoever reasons.
• Check-in time is 1400 Hrs. and check out time is 1100 Hrs. Any extension may attract extra charges subject to availability.
•   In case of amendments/cancellations due to unforeseen conditions like flight cancellation, vessel cancellation the delays etc. The itinerary will be interchanged or amended as per availability. This will be at Turtle Fins Adventure discretion.
•   Any dietary restrictions (Vegetarian, need food, allergies etc.) need to be mentioned at the time of booking for Turtle Fins Adventure to check and book suitable property if it can be arranged. If you fail to do so, please let the guest know that the same will be subject to availability.
•   Excursions will be operated on extra charges (not part of the package) if weather permitting and must be booked at the counter.
•   Please note that a permit is required for each person (for all age groups including infants and children) travelling to Lakshadweep. In case the guest travels without permit Turtle Fins Adventure will be forced to cancel the reservation and send back the guest without any refunds.
•   In case the guests need to extend their stay due to unforeseen situations like bad weather, flight cancellation or delay, Turtle Fins Adventure team will be pleased to assist you to get accommodation for the guest. Please note the below are few conditions applicable -

1.    The accommodation is subject to availability and guests might have to shift to another property.
2.    Turtle Fins Adventure team will inform the cost of the accommodation and the room cost must be guaranteed by the vendor or the guest before guest check-in.
3.    If the guest is paying directly then the payment for the accommodation must be paid at check in
4.    If the payment is guaranteed by the vendor - the payment must be completed before guest checkout.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

•   If the booking is cancelled for personal reasons, there will be charges levied as per the cancellation policy
•   In case of cancellation after the booking has been confirmed and before the due date of the final payment, 50% cancellation charges will be applied 45 days prior to departure. This is applicable for both FIT, Group Bookings and MICE
•   All services such as Accommodation/ground transportation etc. for group tours are pre-blocked well in advance. We are still liable to pay all our suppliers/vendors, therefore the agreed charges include penalties if these services are released/cancelled within the below-mentioned time frame. If circumstances make you cancel the Tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing.
•   Cancellation charges are applied as mentioned below -


ALL CANCELLATIONS WILL ATTRACT THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION CHARGES:

 
* All payments towards the tour cost must be made to Turtle Fins Adventure in accordance with the procedure and time frame mentioned.
* Full payment must be made in accordance with the procedure stated above. In case of non-compliance, Turtle Fins Adventure reserves the right to cancel the tour/booking of the client with a subsequent loss of deposit and apply and recover the cancellation charges.
* 50% payment to be made for all group bookings (6 rooms or more) when the rooms are blocked. The rest of the payment has to be made fully by 45 days prior to departure.
* Once the booking is confirmed a deposit of INR 5,000/- is levied as a security deposit, this will be refunded once the guest has returned.

• Any changes in the statutory taxes or rates after booking
