PM Modi inaugurates extension of Delhi Airport Metro Express line, trains to travel at 120 kmph

At present, it takes 19 minutes to travel between the airport and the New Delhi station. “This historic increase in speed of India’s fastest metro corridor, gradually from 90 kmph to 120 kmph, has been made possible by meticulous planning and time-bound implementation by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s engineers in consultation with a number of other government agencies and domain experts,” said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director, corporate communications, DMRC.
