Coming soon, prepaid travel cards in Jaipur, Rajasthan

Prepaid travel cards will be here soon to help you avoid this problem. Come mid-December, JCTSL will launch an app through which you can recharge your travel cards using any UPI application. Initially, only a limited number of pre-paid travel cards will be made available at selected branches of Yes Bank. Users will then need to recharge their card for future travels.
How to use the card?
Once you board the bus, instead of purchasing a ticket with cash, you can hand the card to the bus conductor, who will then swipe the card on the Point of Sale (POS) available and give you the ticket for your desired destination. No cash transaction.
After the initial stage, soon JCTSL will make these prepaid cards available at JCTSL headquarters and all its depots across the city of Jaipur. Whether you are a local or a tourist, you can avail this service for more seamless and economic travel.
Jaipur City Transport Services Limited operates local city buses in Jaipur City, Sanganer, Amber, Neendor and Bassi. There are city night service buses too that will take you to the local railway station. There are also Hop On Hop Off buses under JCTSL that tourists can take for intra-city travel.
