Sarsi Island Set to Become Madhya Pradesh’s Top Tourist Destination
Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla recently inspected Sarsi Island, a newly developed 15-acre tourist destination created by MPT. This emerging attraction is set to become a significant tourism hub in Madhya Pradesh, offering visitors an array of activities and facilities.During the visit, Shukla highlighted the island’s potential to draw visitors, confidently stating, “Sarsi Island will soon be the premier tourist destination in Madhya Pradesh.” The island features high-end amenities, including a gym and boating services, akin to the luxuries of five-star hotels, ensuring a top-tier experience for guests. It aims to recreate the scenic beauty of renowned destinations like the Maldives and Lakshadweep, making it a perfect backdrop for weddings and other special occasions.
As part of his inspection, the Deputy CM directed officials to ensure all arrangements are in place to welcome tourists and encourage longer stays with their families. The government has also prioritized developing reliable transportation links, making the island more accessible by introducing regular ferry services from nearby cities.
Deputy CM Shukla expressed his optimism about the future of Sarsi Island, predicting it will soon be a top destination for both domestic and international tourists.
