The RRTS is all set to enhance connectivity across a 42-kilometer corridor, featuring eight operational stations: Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai (EPE), Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South, Modi Nagar North, and Meerut South.As of now, the travel time by road between these destinations is about one hour. However, with the RRTS, this journey is streamlined to just 30 minutes, significantly improving travel efficiency.
How to book your ticket for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS
Commuters on the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor can book their tickets through several convenient methods:
Rapidx Connect App: Download and use this app on your smartphone for a seamless digital ticketing experience.
NCMC-Compliant Cards: These cards can be purchased and used at station ticket counters for ticket transactions.
Credit/Debit/Prepaid Cards & Cash: Tickets can also be bought from ticket vending machines (TVMs) using these payment methods.
Paper QR Code Tickets: Obtain paper tickets with QR codes directly from TVMs or station counters.
Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs): Available at multiple stations, including Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and others, these machines provide easy access to tickets.
For those travelling on the RRTS, there is a baggage allowance of up to 25 kg. Luggage must conform to the size restrictions of 80 cm in length, 50 cm in width, and 30 cm in height. This policy ensures that personal baggage remains manageable and does not disrupt passenger comfort.
